Mirror, mirror on the wall...
How each of us see our world is different according to our own perception – our own reality of the physical world. My truth is different from your truth, although we may have many commonalities. But to see the world (my, world) through MY eyes is different than seeing it from yours.
The issues with these misalignments of truth, is what sparks the debates of our own unique view of life. You see things this way and I see things that way. Both, according to each of us, are correct.
It’s only through our willingness to put ourselves in another’s POV that we begin to understand the true dichotomy of our own existence. Are you still with me? I’ll say that in a different way. By perceiving another person’s world in the way that they do – we start to meld our truths together and suddenly, we’re on the same page. Without doing this, we can never coalesce.
It’s important to remember our differences but more important to remember that we’re all alike, as well. Each human, each soul - setting out on their own expedition to understand all that is around them…but mostly themselves.
Look into the mirror and ask who you really are and who you want to become. How you view yourself is in alignment to how you will see everyone else. Think about it – we’re stuck with ourselves 24/7. Can you say you understand your inner voice, your emotions and why you do the things that you do…? Or, don’t do some things that you probably should?
Let’s take a deeper dive into what goes on in there because we have to understand ourselves before we can claim to have figured out, anybody else.
Your challenge if you chose to accept it…
Look into your own eyes and ask yourself these questions at the end of your day:
Am I happy in the very moment?
If not, what will I do, tomorrow, to change that perception?
If I am, what will I do, tomorrow, to share it?
It’s a very big question but an important one. This is your life. The one and only life you get to life as YOU – this body, this name, in this time. Forget past and future lives because those don’t matter in the moment. Only in the NOW is where you’re able to create your future. Only in the NOW is when you’ll be able to understand your past. In the ‘now’ is where growth takes place and it’s where you get to decide who you really want to be.
Take responsibility and take action.
So, who are you?
