Conquering the World

Sometimes we want to change everything all at once and are impatient about having everything coming together in a timely manner. When things start not going according to our plans, we can become frustrated, angry and want to give up.

This is the time to: Stop.

Listen, and weigh in to what’s really happening.

Are we taking on too much? Is everything falling apart because we have too many plates spinning? This is more common than you think.

We live in a fast-paced world with instant everything so why shouldn’t we be able to take on the world and win at every time?

We’ve all heard the saying: “all good things come to those who wait…” Well, it’s a bit more complicated than that. We need to pick one project at a time so that we can come up with the best game plan, the smartest course of action and set realistic expectations for our goals.

Baby steps, my friends…baby steps. If you plan your route out wisely, you’ll find that you will be more likely to get there quicker as well as you won’t become overwhelmed.

Tune into your ‘gut’ instinct, your intuition and see what it has to tell you about what you should tackle first and when you should begin. Prioritizing is key. Pay attention to any nagging feelings you may have regarding choices/circumstances or people involved; they are trying to tell you something and it’s important.

Trying to do a whole bunch of really BIG life things, all at once, can be a recipe for disaster and disappointment. The point is to position yourself with the best opportunity for success and sometimes that means slowing things down a little and taking stock of what it is that means the most to us, now, and in the immediate future.

Then…let it all flow and begin your journey…
